More than 500-guests attended our inaugural Boston SuperHeroes Gala at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. Guests and donors experienced an amazing evening that included cocktails, dinner, program, dancing, and fabulous entertainment. World renowned speed painter Tim Decker had the audience mesmerized with his high-energy painting exhibition that resulted in three unique canvas paintings auctioned off during the evening. Honorees for the evening were Courageous Spirit Award Winner, Reggie Bibbs and Humanitarian Award Winner, Alan Rouleau.
The World Classic Rockers, including former members of legendary rock bands Journey, Santana, Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd & Steppenwolf, had the house on their feet for the entire concert. The real “SuperHeroes” of the evening were the CHAMPIONS of the FOUNDATION, people with rare and severe medical conditions, who shared their inspiring and courageous stories. The highlight of the evening came when they joined the legendary rockers on stage to sing “Sweet Home Alabama.” To make the evening even more magical, the Champions of the Foundation and their families were treated to a VIP after party where they sang karaoke with the rockers.
