At the Courageous Faces Foundation Boston SuperHeroes Gala, the Courageous Spirit Award, was given to Face of the Foundation Reggie Bibbs, and the World Humanitarian Award recipient was master tailor Alan Rouleau.
Alan, who had made suite for sports, political and government royalty, said he has never had a client more special than Reggie. Because of Reggie’s condition, neurofibromatosis, he used to spend hours hand sewing his pant leg together just to get dressed each day. That all changed after the CFF Foundation reached out to Rouleau who made an entire wardrobe for Reggie, including a luxury suit.
In December of 2017, thanks to donors generous donations, the Courageous Faces Foundation was able to order custom made boots for Reggie. Eddie at The Village Shoe Shop, in Houston spent 3 months engineering and constructing special made boots to fit Reggie’s extremely enlarged left leg and foot. Reggie received these incredible new boots just in time for a trip to Colorado’s cold winter weather, where he traveled to attend the Courageous Faces Foundation first annual Just Ask Institute Workshop.
